CULTURE & ARTS PROGRAM (CAP)
Track Two collaborates with artists and performers of diverse cultural backgrounds from our program regions to produce rich visual, dance, performance, and multimedia projects. These bodies of work are presented to Track Two participants, guests, and the public at conferences where they provide a different lens through which to participate and engage with our conference themes and dialog.

Artists in our network also collaborate to produce works connecting different pasts and heritages. Ilya Lagutenko and Joe Orrach created a video about the end of the world, bringing Russian and US perspectives together through music and movement.
Cultural exchanges transcend language barriers and cultural divisions in a profound way, providing audiences with a glimpse of life across oceans and borders. These mediums speak to a different part of the human existence, a part that may be more open to understanding the ‘other’.

Through these exchanges we uncover cultural nuances, stories from the past and present, and points of intersection between cultures that at first glance may appear wholly disparate.
