Antonina Bouis

Antonina Bouis is a translator of Russian literature and a consultant on Russian culture. Ms. Bouis advised financier and philanthropist George Soros in the creation of his foundations throughout the former USSR, beginning in 1987.


Ms. Bouis worked closely with the Guggenheim Museum on Russia-related programs and was managing editor of The Commonwealth Fund Book Program, which identified and supported scientists who could write in an engaging way about their work. She produced seven volumes of the series.
